Shipping Policy (B2B)
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through RTCProducts.com and is intended for business-to-business (B2B) customers. Shipping terms may vary by product, destination, and order size. If you have questions about shipping options, please contact sales@rtcproducts.com.
Shipping Origin & Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all orders ship F.O.B. Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. Freight charges will be added to the invoice using RTC’s choice of shipping method unless otherwise specified on the Purchase Order.
Freight Charges & Free Freight Thresholds
Freight will not be charged to the ordering party for orders exceeding:
- $2,500.00 in the continental United States
- $4,000.00 to Alaska and Hawaii
Free freight thresholds apply only when product is shipped in one shipment. Exclusions apply (including electrical machines and select Sigma products).
Any costs incurred for expedited shipments or multiple shipments will be the responsibility of the ordering party unless multiple shipments result from backordered product. Please contact your account manager for details.
Handling Fees
An extra handling fee of $40 will be assessed to every pallet required to ship an order.
Drop-Ship Fees
A drop-ship fee may be applied to any purchase order where the ship-to name/address is different than the bill-to.
- $10.00 added to orders shipped via UPS Ground (or equivalent)
- $25.00 added to shipments requiring a freight truck
Expedited Shipping & Special Requests
Expedited shipping and special delivery requests may be available at additional cost. If you require a specific carrier or service level, please include this on your Purchase Order or contact RTC before placing your order.
Backorders & Multiple Shipments
If items are backordered, your order may ship in more than one shipment. Multiple shipments requested by the customer may incur additional freight charges. If multiple shipments result from backordered product, RTC will advise you of available options.
Shipping Damage, Missing Items & Claims
Any product that is damaged in shipping, or that does not arrive, must be reported to RTC within 3 business days of receipt of delivery.
If an item is damaged in transit you must:
- Take photos of the product and the packaging it arrived in
- Set the product aside (do not discard packaging)
- Contact RTC so we can file a claim with the carrier and provide next steps
Return Freight (Sales Guarantee & Other Authorized Returns)
For authorized returns (including those under the 120-day Sales Guarantee), it is the responsibility of the customer to pay freight for product returned to RTC. RTC will cover the freight of the “new” product shipped in exchange, assuming it meets the applicable freight criteria outlined in this policy.
